What You Can Expect From Me & What I Ask From You

Thank you for trusting Theresa Delarosa Events with such an important season of your lives. My goal is to provide a joyful, organized, professional, and seamless experience while helping you enjoy your wedding day.

WE’RE ON THE SAME TEAM

Your wedding is a live event, and sometimes things happen that are outside anyone’s control—weather, traffic, vendor delays, venue restrictions, illness, emergencies, or last-minute changes. I cannot promise perfection, but I can promise professionalism, communication, problem-solving, and advocacy.

COMMUNICATION & DECISIONS

Clear communication makes everything easier.

  • Please communicate questions, concerns, or changes openly and promptly.

  • Major decisions should be finalized before wedding week whenever possible.

  • To minimize confusion, final decisions and logistical updates should come directly from the couple unless we have agreed otherwise.

  • I maintain designated office hours so I can provide excellent service while also maintaining healthy boundaries as a wife, mother, and business owner.

  • Trust in your vendor team is important. Please hire me because you feel confident in my personality, process, communication style, and approach—not simply because I fit your budget.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

My role is to coordinate, communicate, problem-solve, and oversee the logistics and flow of your celebration.

I am not a substitute for catering staff, bartenders, bussers, florists, DJs, janitorial staff, or a heavy-lifting crew.

Additional errands, off-site trips, item pickups, transportation of personal belongings, or tasks outside your contracted services may require an additional fee and are subject to availability.

Setup and teardown services are separate Investments.

YOUR VENDOR TEAM

I am happy to advocate for you and collaborate with your vendors, but each vendor is ultimately responsible for their own services, contracts, products, performance, and obligations.

For the best experience, I strongly encourage hiring experienced, professional vendors who are properly licensed, insured, and familiar with their responsibilities.

WEDDING DAY WELLNESS

Wedding days can last 10–14 hours. I will take brief, intentional moments to hydrate, eat, stretch, sit, or reset when appropriate. These breaks are planned around the flow of the event and will not interfere with key responsibilities.

Vendor meals are required for Theresa Delarosa Events team members working six or more consecutive hours. If a meal is not provided, an off-site meal break must be scheduled and may affect timeline coverage.

WEDDING DAY BOUNDARIES

For safety and liability reasons:

  • I do not transport guests.

  • I will not drive intoxicated individuals.

  • I am not responsible for transporting alcohol after the event.

  • I am not responsible for storing personal belongings after the wedding.

  • A designated person should be assigned to collect gifts and personal items.

  • I may decline tasks that compromise safety or fall outside my scope.

  • Verbal abuse, harassment, or disrespect toward me or my team will not be tolerated.

PAYMENTS

Please make all payments by the agreed-upon due dates. Late payments may result in a $50 daily late fee, and services may be paused until the account is brought current.

GRACE GOES BOTH WAYS

I will always strive for excellence, flexibility, and exceptional service. In return, I ask for grace, honesty, kindness, and mutual respect.

At the end of the day, the timeline, décor, and details matter—but your marriage and the memories you create together matter more.

We’re on the same team. Let’s make this a beautiful experience.
